Swaps removes the complexity and overhead from both same-chain and cross-chain token swaps, providing a straightforward interface and optimized swap routing, without needing to go directly to decentralized exchanges (DEXes) and bridges.
What is Swaps?
Swaps is a new feature in Kraken Wallet that allows users to quickly swap their choice of tokens across supported networks. Swaps works by aggregating data from the best DEXes and bridges and presenting transaction quotes, clear customizations and no extra clicks or transaction signing.

Fee-free, frictionless swapping
The old way to swap tokens involved finding and connecting a wallet to the right DEX. Swaps simplifies this experience in a clear and comprehensive way. No need for pesky token approvals or questionable transaction signatures.
We’re also launching Swaps without charging any Kraken-added fees, as we continue to prioritize user experience that doesn’t come at user expense. Fees may still be charged by the executing DEX or bridge.
Simple customizations
Swaps provides simple, straightforward tools to customize transactions. Opting for “Best value” ensures the highest minimum output, while “Fastest transaction speed” finds the optimal route and network fee to complete a swap in the shortest amount of time.
